GT World Challenge Sprint
The GT World Challenge Sprint Racing Series is a professional sports car racing series, organized by SRO Motorsports Group. It features GT3-specification cars competing in races held across Europe. Races are held over a weekend, with two 60-minute races per event. The series focuses on sprint-style races. The series offers a platform for manufacturers to showcase their latest GT3 machinery and for teams and drivers to compete at the highest level.

"GT World Challenge is another great program and I think it is perfect to be in the car more this year. It is a very competitive championship, and I think this year it will be even more competitive. It is a more similar event to ADAC GT Masters, which of course I raced last year. Hopefully, that experience from last year will help me keep that rhythm and flow going throughout the season. Let's see what we can do here, but I am very excited to be driving this amazing calendar with some new tracks."
The championship works as follows, and every car has 2 drivers. In this case, Thierry will be paired up with a teammate running with Emil Frey Racing in the Ferrari 296 GT3 car. Thierry has his eyes set on capitalising on results in the championship and working together with the team to maximise performance.
Free practice: Free Practice works as follows, there will be one session on the Saturday of the race weekend with a 1-hour free practice session. This session is for both drivers to adapt to the car and track, there is no official way of how the time is split between the drivers but most often it's 30 minutes each.
Pre-Qualifying: Pre Qualifying works as follows, there will be a one-hour session on the Saturday of the race weekend. This session acts as a qualifying simulation. The teams fine-tune their qualifying setup to maximise their performance in qualifying. If for a reason qualifying is cancelled, they will take the results from this session to determine the grid for race one.
Qualifying: On Saturday, the qualifying will be held, there will be a qualifying session of 20 minutes. This qualifying session will set the grid for Race one on Sunday.
Race: The race will be 1 hour, and the driver change will be held halfway through the race (30 min), during the driver change tires are allowed to be changed. The same applies to both races.
